What we collect

We collect the contact details, moving dates, locations, quantities, messages, rental records, agreement acceptance, and payment references you provide. Referral codes and campaign parameters help us understand how people find HumBoxes. We do not collect your raw card number or security code.

Why we use it

We use this information to respond to inquiries, arrange rentals, process payments and refunds, send rental reminders and receipts, manage inventory, prevent abuse, and understand our marketing. Launch-list details are used to contact you about HumBoxes availability; you can ask to be removed.

Service providers

Our website is prepared to use Vercel for hosting, Supabase for secure records and staff authentication, Stripe for payments and saved cards, and Resend for transactional emails. These providers receive information needed to perform their services. Payment information is handled directly by Stripe.

Cookies and analytics

Our simple first-party analytics count page loads by date and page, not unique people. They store no visitor identifier or raw IP in the analytics records. Anonymous aggregate counts are kept for up to 180 days. Abuse protection temporarily uses a hashed network address. Essential cookies keep staff signed in and protect private reservation access. We record campaign and referral information when you submit a form or reservation. A browser-session storage entry carries campaign/referral tags between pages, then ends with that browser session. We do not install advertising trackers or sell personal information. Hosting and security providers may process basic request logs, including IP addresses.

Access, retention, and requests

Authorized Shoreline staff can access the information necessary to serve customers. We keep records as needed to administer rentals, resolve disputes, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion where available. We may need to verify your identity and retain records we are required to keep.
